Sri is a graduate of the Bauer College of Business, University of Houston. Sri started working part-time in the IT department of the business school in 1998, right after he started his degree program and would do so until the time of his graduation. For his efforts, Sri was recognised for his outstanding work in the areas of IT support, student supervision and leadership.

Sri founded Mustard Seed IT with a passion to provide businesses strategic advice as well as practical IT solutions and support. Mustard Seed IT stands apart from other practitioners in the crowded marketplace by always placing people before profit, a high priority for Sri. Sri believes in professional accountability and integrity and remains an active member of the Australian Computer Society (ACS), the professional association for Australia’s ICT sector. Though Sri doesn’t elevate certifications above actual industry experience, he holds the following industry recognised certifications: CompTIA Security+, Amazon AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals and Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.

Sri is very well regarded by students and are drawn to his teaching style, real world experience, passion, authenticity, and friendly personality. Sri’s recognition as a Fellow of the HEA in 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic, is a testament to the excellent educator he is.

Sri’s deep desire to help others led him to volunteer as a mentor with the Mentoring for Growth program (M4G), an initiative of the Queensland government, where eligible businesses are offered free access to volunteer business experts who provide insights, options and suggestions relating to challenges and opportunities you are experiencing in their business.

Sri is a husband and father, and prioritises his family over all other obligations, and will not allow business and other commitments to get in the way of his responsibilities as a family man.

Sri is a faithful follower of Jesus, attending regular fellowship at Grace Bible Church Logan. Sri’s faith in Jesus governs all aspects of his life, hence his Christocentric approach to the way he conducts his business through Mustard Seed IT. Despite his 25 years of experience, Sri genuinely believes that it is the LORD who helps him do everything well and serve his clients with excellence and integrity.
